As a Senior Controls Manager based in our Warwick office, you will report into the Director of Group Finance.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Manage and develop the Group’s business controls framework, ensuring key risks in these areas are being managed appropriately.
• Lead the business engagement in these areas ensuring the risks are understood and the frameworks are owned and embedded into the businesses and functions.
• Overseeing the end-to-end review of the business processes, identifying areas and scope for controls and governance improvements, focusing on efficiency improvement and risk reduction.
• Business Partnering across Wolseley Group to support in the implementation of controls whilst providing guidance and best practice as well as providing support, advice and education.
• Generate insightful, concise management reporting for the Leadership Team and Board, providing an integrated view of risk and control information in these areas.
  
  

This is a full-time, permanent role working Mon-Friday 40 hours a week, with hybrid working.

However, please note, you will need to travel to sites across the UK and Ireland as and when required for business needs.

And here’s what we’d like you to have:

• A background in Controls is preferred, however, we can consider someone with a background in Audit, Risk, Accounting or Tax looking for their next opportunity!
• A qualified accountant or a qualification in Internal Audit or Risk Management
• Experience working in a mid-large complex /multi-site business is preferred, however, we would also consider someone looking to move out of practice
• Strong analytical & stakeholder management skills with commercial thinking abilities
