As a Senior Applications Engineer at Siemens Energy, you will begin your day working with your team to address demanding projects focused on transforming energy systems. You will closely engage with both external and internal collaborators, providing technical assistance and developing solutions that meet high standards. Your efforts will play a crucial role in advancing our goal to develop dependable and eco-friendly energy solutions, nurturing a culture of creativity and teamwork.

How You’ll Make An Impact

  • Realise functional concepts of solutions in projects through detailed technical solutions.
  • Offer technical assistance to both external and internal collaborators, including design work and CAD-generated drawings.
  • Design and engineer solutions down to the finest detail to meet customer-specific requirements.
  • Define products, components, systems, and their concrete characteristics.
  • Configure components and systems according to project needs, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Support production, purchasing, and test departments, as well as fault/return investigations.


What You Bring

  • Proven engineering skills in concept design, detailed design, and tolerance analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and principles (forces, moments, stress analysis).
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence to engage at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and committed team player with a customer-focused approach.
  • Flexibility to operate autonomously or as part of a team, with a willingness to adapt to different roles.
