As part of the Equity Technology team, an opportunity exists for a technically oriented individual to join the small Securities Finance team. The role will focus on building, maintaining and supporting our Global Securities Finance platform – supporting front and middle office users in multiple time zones.

Job Description:
As part of the Equity Technology team, an opportunity exists for a technically oriented individual to join the small Securities Finance team. The role will focus on building, maintaining and supporting our Global Securities Finance platform – supporting front and middle office users in multiple time zones.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
- This role entails hands-on coding responsibilities in Java and related frameworks.
- Develop, test, and maintain multiple Securities Finance foundation and functional products.
- Working closely with technology leads to implement functional components for the project that contribute to the Sec Fin product suite.
- Contribute to the DevOps stream as a part of the product buildout and adhere to the CI/CD protocols.
- Maintain and enhance support documentation.
- 10+ years of coding experience in core Java, Spring framework and messaging framework
- Experience building distributed and enterprise application.
- Strong SQL/MySQL knowledge, experience with Redis, Kafka, Snowflake is a plus.
- Jira, Bit Bucket & Bamboo, CI/CD & DevOps, GitHub Copilot understanding is a plus.
- AWS working experience is a desired.
- Understanding of Securities Finance/Prime Brokerage, preferably with prior experience in this or a related area.
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with colleagues around the world
- Ability to run projects independently collaborating with other technology peers (i.e. Prime Brokerage Technology Team).
- Attention to detail.
