At Hill, we know that great support makes a real difference. As our Secretary, you’ll be a vital part of our collaborative admin team—helping the business run smoothly by managing documents, supporting our teams, and providing a professional front-of-house experience.

This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the go-to person for reliable, high-quality administrative support and will help maintain the welcoming, organised office environment we’re known for.

What you’ll do:

  • Greet visitors and callers with a warm, professional approach
  • Manage diaries, meeting rooms, and post (incoming and outgoing)
  • Coordinate scanning, shredding and courier services
  • Maintain accurate records and structured filing systems
  • Support document production including printing, binding, and data entry
  • Assist with documentation for production and site teams (e.g. Health & Safety, subcontractor records)
  • Track leave, training, and admin activity via spreadsheets
  • Process fuel cards, invoices and other documentation for payment
  • Manage stationery orders and maintain internal directories

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous experience in administration or office support roles
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of presentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Friendly, professional manner and team-first attitude
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proactive, organised, and confident working independently or with others
