Planner – Hill Group Ltd

We’re seeking an experienced Planner to join Hill Group Ltd and play a key role in delivering high-quality residential construction projects across all sizes and complexities. You’ll support both pre-construction and live projects—developing detailed programmes, logistics plans, and methodologies, while ensuring alignment with ISO9001 and Health & Safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare tender and construction programmes, logistical plans, and method statements.
- Support bids and live projects with up-to-date planning and scheduling.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Pre-Construction, Estimating, Build, Technical, Commercial) and external stakeholders (clients, consultants, subcontractors).
- Participate in project reviews, client meetings, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems.
- Support post-bid negotiations and contribute to successful project handovers.
- Experience in planning for residential developments (social and private housing).
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, regulations, and Health & Safety.
- Proficiency with planning software and ability to present programme information clearly.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
- Ability to lead planning activities on complex, high-value projects.
