The role…

The role of Second Line Technical Support Analyst is important to us.

This is an office-based role, working within the Software Development department that is based in our telematics HQ in Crewe, Cheshire.

As part of our Telematics Technical Support Team, you will be responsible for supporting our telematics maintenance application, working alongside the development team to provide the business high quality support.

You’ll provide a friendly face to the business and bridge the gap between our internal third line support team when they need to be involved with bug fixes.

Your Responsibilities Will Include…

  • Working through Technical Support Tickets on our Jira Service Desk Board.
  • Communicating with the business and keeping them updated on the progress of tickets.
  • Interrogating the code repository to help identify problem areas for Third Line Support.
  • Highlighting recurring or High-Profile issues to the Third Line Team and Management.
  • Connecting to, querying, and updating production databases to resolve data issues that may have occurred.


What do we expect of you?

This role could be ideal if you have a Support Developer, Application Support, or Product Support background.

We’re Looking For You To Bring

  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and pivot between tasks.
  • Ability to communicate with business users.
  • Ability to bridge gaps between technical and non-technical people.
  • An appreciation of some of our varied tech stack: Java, React, Spring Framework
