Position Type: Full-time, 5 days over 7

Shift Hours: 5:00 PM - 1:00 AM (Job and Finish)

Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our sandwich department and contribute to our efficient night production team.

Role Overview:

As a Night Sandwich Maker, you will ensure that all sandwiches and paninis are freshly prepared, packaged, and dispatched to meet the daily requirements of our 110 stores. This role requires excellent time management, the ability to work under pressure, and strict adherence to dispatch deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sandwich and Panini Preparation: Prepare a variety of sandwiches and paninis following company recipes and standards to maintain consistent quality and presentation.
• Sandwich Mix Preparation: Make fresh sandwich fillings, including chicken mayo and tuna mayo, ensuring quality and flavor consistency.
• Packaging and Dispatch: Accurately package and label all items, ready for distribution within strict timeframes to ensure timely delivery to all stores.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks to ensure all products meet Wenzel’s high standards of taste, freshness, and presentation.
• Efficiency Under Pressure: Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food hygiene and safety regulations at all times.
• Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with other team members to meet nightly production targets.
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: Previous experience in a food preparation or production environment is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Strong ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility: Availability to work 5 days over 7, including weekends if required.
