About this role:
Associates who are performing the Global Retention Programs (GRP) Lead Role have in depth experience within knowledge area or across multiple functions, consistently performed above expectations, leadership and accountability for critical retention activities, book of business, and being an informal leader and mentor to others.
The Retention Program Manager will work alongside our sales and service teams to help ensure our clients receive a strong return on their investment. They support in capturing many of Gartner’s most important business opportunities and are expected to develop skills and demonstrate increasing independence related to helping manage coordinated delivery on clients Most Critical Priorities for complex and larger accounts. Global Retention Programs help clients coordinate multiple services and other business functions within Gartner and are responsible for working with all business units and associates touching an account to drive renewal strategy with high operational efficiency and effectiveness. This role also manages projects, programs or initiatives within team and identifies innovations in Retention Programs taking ownership for implementation, possibly formally managing team activities in solving problems and retention issues.

What you will do:
- Own and implement the global retention program in Europe region.
- As a strategic partner and subject matter expert, work with sales and service team to help mitigate risk, identify growth opportunities, and problem-solve on the largest regional accounts.
- Advise the team with client-centric approach to drive value delivered and capture for the Gartner key clients.
- Create executive renewal business case, provide relevant best practices and resources to secure the renewal
- Conduct strategic-level quantitative & qualitative analyses for VP and above level management to help solve business challenges and highlight improvement opportunities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement the solutions and drive actions as "one-Gartner"
- Identify, pilot and lead innovative approaches to optimize and streamline global retention program.
- Achieve 85% retention on priority accounts and growth 10 points higher than company average
- Exceed the company average retention on priority accounts with transitions
- Provide recommend actions based on insights from retention analysis that improve retention
- Improve CV growth from use of the Impact Assessment, Proposal Generator and Account Planning Kit
- Make recommendations targeted at material long-term performance improvement
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent; Masters a plus
- Seasoned professional within knowledge area or across multiple functions
- 3+ yrs of relevant experience, ideally working with retention strategy and account priorities
- At least 2 years experience within Products or Services preferred
- Experience in leading a major project or cross-functional programs
- Ideally experience with project or program management and in making decisions on complex issues and on how to solve operational problems
- At least 2 years of indirect/direct management experience preferred
- Seasoned professional with applied experience in Products and Services and/or Account Retention
- Ability to lead, coach and build strong teams
- Ability to work with, influence and manage resources from different organizations
- Ability to synthesize ideas into simple, concise statements and clearly present and articulate ideas
- Strong ability to work on complex problems and manage cross-functional projects or programs
- Proficient in MS Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Trains and mentors associate on technical skills
- Applies understanding of Gartner's business and competitive environment to own processes and programs
- Skillfully adapts to change
