Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our renewals team as a Renewals IP Team Support. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our renewals processes. You will manage correspondence, maintain accurate IP records, and assist with invoicing and billing. This is a key position that contributes to the efficiency of the renewals team and overall office operations.

Key Responsibilities


  • Manage and organise incoming and outgoing mail, including scanning, saving, and preparing recorded deliveries.

  • Maintain the Patricia database, including saving incoming correspondence, updating records, and creating cases.

  • Handle the Renewals inbox by forwarding emails and sending acknowledgements.

  • Perform checks and save documents related to UKIPO, EUIPO, and WIPO renewal reminders.

  • Update ownership records for IP rights and support case attorney updates in Patricia.

  • Assist with data clean-up tasks, posting overdue reminders, and reporting on expired patents and designs.

  • Support team members with invoicing and document management, and assist with special projects as required.



Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


  • Proven administration experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
