Job Description
Do you want to make a positive difference to the lives of older people and adults with learning disabilities? Joining the Transport Hub as a Relief Passenger Assistant can enable you to do just that.
As a relief passenger assistant, you’ll support our core transport teams based in Lewes and St Leonards. You’ll play an essential role in providing safe, reliable transport using our fleet of modern, wheelchair accessible minibuses. Whether you’re stepping in to provide short-notice emergency cover, or covering a planned holiday absence, you’ll be instrumental in keeping the wheels rolling and ensuring our passengers can access the care they need.

- Live locally to the Lewes and St Leonards areas, or are willing to travel to these locations for work
- Are caring, supportive, and understanding of the needs of older people, disabled people, and those with learning disabilities
- Are able to communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues
- Are able to undertake moving and handling tasks associated with passenger transport
- Are committed to providing excellent customer service and maintaining passenger confidentiality
