Work Schedule
Cogges Veterinary Surgery is a well-established, single-site small animal practice that’s been part of the Witney community since 1993. We joined IVC Evidensia in 2019 and continue to provide excellent standards of care in a friendly, welcoming environment.
We’re fully equipped with digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound, and in-house Idexx laboratory machines to support a wide range of clinical work. Our loyal client base has been built over decades, and we’re proud of the lasting relationships we’ve developed with them.
Witney is a thriving market town surrounded by beautiful countryside, with great links to Oxford and London – ideal for those who want a great work-life balance and quality of life.

Role Details
Your day will include a broad mix of clinical and client-focused duties, such as:
- Managing the ops diary
- Taking radiographs
- Monitoring anaesthetics
- Caring for inpatients
- Providing clinical advice to clients
- Supporting the vet and reception teams
- Running nurse clinics
Work Schedule
- Full-time: 5 x 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours)
- No out-of-hours duties required
- 1 in 5 weekends, compensated with TOIL
- 3 early finishes at 4pm each week
- Part-time applicants also welcome

- RCVS Registered Veterinary Nurse
- Confident with anaesthesia, inpatient care, and client communication
- Team-focused with a proactive, caring approach
- Organised and reliable with strong attention to detail
