Help review major, serious criminal investigations helping to keep our communities safe.
Working within our regional review team, you’ll be ensuring that reviews are conducted with integrity and objectivity to identify investigative opportunities and good practice.
You’ll be conducting and assisting with the review of major, serious and other criminal investigations complying with relevant legislation and national guidelines.

Working within our regional review team, you’ll be ensuring that reviews are conducted with integrity and objectivity to identify investigative opportunities and good practice.
You’ll be conducting and assisting with the review of major, serious and other criminal investigations complying with relevant legislation and national guidelines.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensure that investigative and prevention opportunities are identified
- Liaising with the Senior Investigating Officer and other team officers on major investigations
- Maintaining close links with forensic science service, other police forces and outside agencies assisting with the review of unresolved cases
- Experience of working in an investigative environment using criminal legislation
- Able to handle a high workload and prioritising to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, able to adjust communication to meet the needs of the audience
