You will work closely with the Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation Team to provide leadership to pharmacy professionals and enable the delivery of a high-quality pharmacy and medicines optimisation service for our substance use and adult mental health social care service providers. Main duties of the job
Developing and delivering clinically safe and effective services, ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory and professional bodies' requirements with the support of Waythrough colleagues Contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures by supporting working parties, delivering staff training and communicating and implementing at regional/service level. Analysis of data sets (national and organisational) and making subsequent recommendations in line with best practice guidelines and Waythrough policies and procedures Supporting the development and implementation of action plans following service audits for achieving and maintaining performance targets and KPIs and appropriate quality standards. To support the Director of Pharmacy in providing education and leadership to pharmacyprofessionals and clinical colleagues locally and regionally. To support in the development of policy,enable safety and quality in service delivery and mobilisation/decommissioning of services. Key accountabilities: Support the Director of Pharmacy to provide leadership and management to the ClinicalServices in various regions and communicate key decisions. Contribute to the development of the Clinical strategy through involvement in strategicbusiness planning and communicating and implementing this at service and regional level. Support the Director of Pharmacy to develop and implement action plans for achievingand maintaining performance targets and KPIs and appropriate quality standards. Work in conjunction with the Regional/National Leads and Service Clinical Directors indeveloping and delivering clinically safe and effective services, ensuring compliance withstatutory, regulatory and professional bodies' requirements Contribute to the development of clinical policy by leading and joining working parties,delivering staff training and communicating and implementing at regional/service level. Qualifications
Registered as a Pharmacist/Pharmacy Technician with GPhC Accreditation with relevant professional body e.g. RPS Faculty, CMHP credentialed. Further post-graduate qualifications/accreditation in substance misuse/associated subject matter e.g. RCGP Part 2, MSc, RPS credentialed as consultant-ready. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
