Your Role

Working as a Scientist in our R&D department you will be responsible for driving the development of novel optical films and components for advanced display devices. Working within a team of experts, your role will be to implement and develop solutions to solve complex optical technical problems. In this role, you will ensure planned work is carried out according to project deadlines whilst following Health and Safety requirements and taking responsibility for safe use of equipment and the lab environment. Additional responsibilities include customer interactions, developing IP portfolio and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and roadmaps

Who You Are

Must have:

  • BSc, MSc or PhD in Chemistry or Physics (or adjacent relevant subject).
  • Computer literate, ideally with proficiency in MS Office/lab software.
  • Ability work well within a local & global team environment, as well as independently.

Nice To Have

  • Hands-on experience in an R&D lab.
  • Knowledge in technical optics.
  • Experience in coating Reactive Mesogen solutions.
  • Ability to optimise existing products in terms of performance, manufacturability and cost.
