What You Will Do As The Quality Team Lead
Identify the specific programme and project risks, threats and opportunities you will manage
- Agree the Project Assurance Plans (PAP) defining project assurance activities aligned to Risk, Opportunity and Improvement within the Programme and associated Pro-operating in line with the requirements of the Operational Framework
- Successful management of Programme and Project Risks, Threats and Opportunities to reduce impact on Programme and Project
- Success in leading Assurance Teams in order to meet Programme and IPT objectives
- Success in leading Assurance function improvement plans across all phases of the Programme, Product and Project Lifecycle
- Success in mentoring and coaching in order to grow Quality excellence within the Programme
- Successful application of interpersonal skills to positively influence behaviours within Quality at individual and team level
- Success in representing the Quality function at a senior level with Programme Customers and Suppliers.
- Achievement of project assurance milestones within the Programme, Product and Project lifecycle.
- Delivery of reports and supporting data to the Programme, Project and function as required.
- Reduction in Sector Non-Conformance costs and implementation of a root cause and corrective action culture to reduce the cost implications on the programmes and project.
What you really must have
- Ideally a Bachelor's Degree [or equivalent] in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing or experience in Defence Electronics or similarly "complex" industry.
- Be able to demonstrate Governance, AS9100 / ISO9001 and Continuous improvement.
- Be able to demonstrate knowledge in applying Quality Tools such as Root Cause Corrective Action, Pattern Fault Lifecycle, Process Mapping, Verification and First Article Inspection.
- Be a logical thinker, capable of harvesting complex data into actions with practical solutions that supports business goals, in 'the language of the business'.
- Have good interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style across all functions of the business.
- Be able to demonstrate experience in working with Customers and Suppliers.
- Have demonstrated experience of developing a team, mentoring and coaching.
