Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity for the position of Quality Improvement Clinical Specialist in the BDI Urology Division has arisen. The role will focus on the area, Midlands or Northwest Territory with some Regional travel as the role requires.
You will be a key part of the Commercial Nursing Team, led by the Quality Improvement Lead. The role works closely with customers and the BD commercial teams to create and implement quality improvement solutions specifically targeting catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTI) This will be across both hospital and community environments.

Main Responsibilities Will Include
- Collaborate with Commercial teams to develop new accounts and deliver end-to-end solutions
- Conduct clinical audits and support services in meeting national and local quality standards.
- Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and deliver audit reports to NHS stakeholders.
- Implement, and evaluate quality improvement (QI) projects through product training, education and clinical support to drive clinical best practice.
- Act as a role model for high standards of clinical practice and quality.
- Provide training and coaching to staff on QI tools, audit, and governance.
- Engage with customers in co-designing QI projects and care pathways.
- Provide advice and guidance on quality improvement methodologies and best practices.
About you:
- Registered Nurse (NMC), Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
- Experienced in clinical audit, QI, or governance
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to lead change and influence others
- Passion for driving best practice through QI to benefit patients
- Willing to travel within the region, as the role requires.
- Experience or interest in Urology, continence, nurse education or infection prevention.
- Strong team player
- Existing NHS QI/clinical procurement relationships.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Previous commercial experience would be an advantage
