We are currently looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join our team in Crawley.
Purpose Of The Role
To provide a high-quality, front-line customer service to tenants, residents, and other stakeholders within a social housing environment. The role involves responding to queries, processing service requests, handling complaints, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the delivery of effective housing services.

We are currently looking for a Customer Service Administrator to join our team in Crawley.
Purpose Of The Role
To provide a high-quality, front-line customer service to tenants, residents, and other stakeholders within a social housing environment. The role involves responding to queries, processing service requests, handling complaints, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the delivery of effective housing services.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for all customer enquiries via telephone, email, web chat, or in person.
- Respond promptly and professionally to queries related to housing services, repairs, rent accounts, tenancy issues, and general enquiries.
- Log repairs and service requests, liaising with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions on relevant housing management systems.
- Support tenants with information on housing policies, rent payments, service charges, and tenancy obligations.
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate teams or officers as necessary.
- Process applications for housing, mutual exchanges, and other tenancy-related matters.
- Assist with customer feedback and complaints procedures in line with organizational policies.
- Contribute to service improvement by identifying recurring issues and suggesting solutions.
- Work collaboratively with other departments, contractors, and partner organizations to deliver excellent customer service.
- Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and housing management systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Commitment to providing inclusive and responsive services.
