HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 20% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office however flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the business and the role.

CONTRACT TYPE: Part time, permanent - Working 32 hours per week

We are offering a fantastic chance to step into the world of IT as a Test Analyst.

As a QA Test Analyst, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Working closely with QA Test Leads and Scrum Development Teams, you’ll contribute to the full testing lifecycle across a variety of projects and systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Collaborating with Test Leads to develop robust test plans that ensure comprehensive coverage and quality assurance.
  • Designing and executing detailed test cases and scenarios to validate software functionality.
  • Performing manual and automated testing to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
  • Identifying, documenting and tracking defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Conducting regression testing to safeguard existing functionalities during code changes.
  • Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with end-users to validate business requirements.
  • Providing clear, concise reporting on test results and progress to stakeholders.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Proven experience in software testing, including test case creation, scripting and execution.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, XRAY, or similar.
  • ISTQB Foundation Level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Exposure to automated testing tools like Selenium is desirable.
  • Experience leading test activities for small IT change projects or workstreams.
