A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Manager at Siemens Energy, you will take on full responsibility for managing projects within the realm of protection, control, and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) in high voltage (HV) transmission projects. Your day will involve coordinating with technical experts, managing subcontractors, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also be involved in risk, opportunity, and claim management, as well as supporting proposal management during the offering phase. Regular project reporting to management will be a key part of your role.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Take full responsibility for managing projects in protection, control, and HMI across high voltage transmission projects.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate interfaces with subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead risk, opportunity, and claim management activities.
  • Support proposal management and bid preparation during the offering phase.
  • Collaborate with technical experts to ensure all technical requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain standardised project management documentation.


What You Bring

  • A university degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a similar field.
  • Extensive experience with control and protection systems and/or energy transmission.
  • Ideally 5-8 years project management experience.
  • Distinctive communication skills.
