Position: Key Account Manager - Coffee to Go

Location:     Field Based, North (covering Leeds, Sheffield, Newcastle area)        

Job Type:  Permanent, full-time

Salary:     £28-32,000.00 per annum, plus on target earnings, plus company vehicle

Purpose of Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Key Account Manager to join us who will be responsible for the management, development, and retention of existing Coffee to Go (CTG) accounts whilst actively looking at new business acquisition in line with the CTG strategy. You will work closely with the extended coffee to go team to establish an understanding of what is required to achieve agreed objectives 

In your new role, your key responsibilities will be:


Key responsibilities

• Acquisition of new business

• Increase cup sales volume in existing sites via focus on quality, social media, improving retail standards etc.

• Retention, re-contracting and upgrading (where appropriate) of existing account base

• Accurate account and journey planning with specific objectives

• Deliver on-site training

• Internal reporting and communication to the Company

• Managing and updating your dedicated prospect pipeline for the year ahead


Experience

To be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have previous experience in selling at a high level, ideally gained within a similar industry. You will have a good working knowledge of coffee equipment including beverage production, cleaning, and maintenance. You will be a confident networker, able to develop a relevant network of contacts in the industry. 


Skills / Knowledge

• Proven track record of achieving excellent new business results

• Previous coffee knowledge 

• Effective communicator at all levels

• Ability to motivate, focus and interact with other team members in a professional and structured manner

• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, that focuses on the needs of the prospect customer

• Strong business acumen skills 

• High standards of administration, time management and personal presentation

• You must hold a full and valid UK driving licence 


Personal Attributes

• Build personal relationships via customer and prospect networks

• Be an ambassador for our Smokin’ Bean and Tchibo To Go brands

• Be flexible especially as far as working days and hours are concerned in order to deliver on business commitment

• High level of self-discipline and motivation

• Must possess a full clean UK driving licence

• High level of business acumen

• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
