Responsibilities Will Include

• Project cost control, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Developing and implementing project financial controls and procedures.
• Identifying and recording financial risks and opportunities.
• Working with the Programme Management Office team to maintain project documents (financial logs, risk registers, milestone charts etc.).
• Assisting with contract pricing exercises.
• Presenting monthly reports, financial status updates, and highlighting issues to the business leadership team and other stakeholders.
• Other ad-hoc financial analysis and planning as required.
  
  

Qualifications And Experience

• Working towards a professional finance qualification at a minimum (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role within a project-based defence or engineering company.
• Experience with a range of contract types including Cost Plus and Firm Price contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Business Systems - Infor LN, IFS, Deltek Cobra, Hyperion or similar.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM) Principles.
• A problem-solving mindset and can-do attitude.
  
  

Note: Due to the nature of work undertaken at SubSea Craft, the selected candidate must be capable of meeting the security requirements of the position, which would include as a minimum existing right to live and work in the UK, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS), with UK National security clearance required for certain roles.*
