Salary: £34,749-£40,939 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The role

Due to ever-increasing workload, the Offshore Delivery Directorate within SSEN Transmission has an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our expanding team and play a pivotal role in our project teams.

You will

  • Manage the project accounts, raising purchase orders, making sure suppliers are paid on time and dealing with external supplier queries.
  • Coordinate and prepare project related meetings, making sure these are scheduled, attended and minutes are recorded to a high quality.
  • Support the project team to meet Project Governance milestones and deadlines.
  • Coordinate all project reporting and presentation packs – making sure these are produced on time and to a high-quality standard.
  • Assist with any additional project specific administration duties.

You have

  • Excellent administration and organisational skills; this role is a busy one and will allow you an opportunity to learn about our business and interact with a wide range of stakeholders and project teams.
  • A keen eye for detail, and an ability to prioritise workload, incorporating demanding deadlines. This includes the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
  • A proven ability to problem solve and be able to prioritise and work in the most efficient and collaborative way. This will require excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in managing project finances will be beneficial
  • A Sound understanding and experience of working with multiple software packages and systems.

The role will involve travelling to different sites/offices with the occasional night away. A driving license is essential.
