The Role

Under the guidance of the Senior Planner, your primary responsibility will be to transform production requirements derived from Customer Orders and Forecasts into efficient and effective production schedules for both Chilled factories. This will involve analysing demand, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring that all production activities are meticulously planned and executed to meet customer expectations.

Salary Range: £29,894.00 - £30,894.00 - per year

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure the Schedule is consistently efficient and delivered promptly to the Operations Team.
  • Foster strong relationships and trust with the Operations Team.
  • Collaborate closely within the team to prevent Supply Chain issues.
  • Attend daily meetings as and when required
  • Balance production requirements utilising available labour effectively
  • Manage event activities within the production requirement
  • Be proactive in managing daily issues / downtime etc and provide solution
  • Communicate any potential impact on Customer Service to the Senior Planner
  • Highlight any issues to Senior Planner in a timely manner
  • Any other activity deemed necessary by the business

Skills And Experience Required

  • Ideally experienced in an FMCG environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage priorities.
  • Efficient in delivering objectives and key measures
  • Evident confidence in presentation, communication and negotiating with professional peers’ group and internal to the business.
  • A good working understanding of Microsoft office and strong excel skills.
