The Role

To ensure finished goods are palletized, stored and shipped to the customer as efficiently as possible with a primary focus on safety and quality, which enable Smurfit Kappa to strengthen its market position and fulfil its clients' requirements and expectations.

  • Loading and unloading of trailers
  • Operating key machinery in accordance with the SSOW in place
  • Follow the established quality control policies and procedures in terms of production flow and work Organisation
  • Fulfill all the requirements in relation to the production and quality reporting
  • Keep the workstation and work area clean and tidy
  • Ensure passing an updated information to the respective Team Leader of any maintenance- related issues on a designated machine
  • Follow all of the Healthy and Safety regulations respective for the specific tasks as well as the general company requirements and report on any hazardous discrepancies that need corrective actions
  • Promote a climate of continuous improvement and employee motivation and involvement at all levels.
  • Contribute as a member of the Yate Operations team
  • Follow general manual handling techniques
