What You Will Do
- As Product Manager for our Banking Products you will undertake product management for a defined suite of products.
- You will be responsible for defining and delivering your product development roadmap and setting the product strategic objectives.
- You will look after product management for your suite of products, serving the banking needs of non-retail clients (i.e. small businesses and community clients up to our corporate customers)
- You will be in partnership with your stakeholders, defining the strategic direction and delivery roadmap for your products
- Tracking commercial performance, understanding drivers and contributing to forecasting. Reviewing the pricing of your products
- Effectively managing the risk for your products, being clear on conduct risks that apply, and how you will understand, track and control this for your product set
- Adhering to product governance processes, including new product approval, changes and annual product reviews, where all deliverables are well thought through and take account of previous learnings
- Assessing incidents that impact your product set, ensuring they are reported according to Risk Policy, root cause is understood and acted upon
- Keeping up with market competitors, technological and customer change
- Using customer insights to better our products for our customers
- Building strong relationships across your key stakeholder group
What You Will Need
- Be able to use data and insights to improve existing propositions and products
- You will be numerate and be able to analyse and present data, and in a way that is understandable to stakeholders not familiar with product management
- You will review data; develop business cases undertake financial analysis
- Build strong relationships with your key stakeholders
- Create and communicate simple and pragmatic solutions
- You will have in-depth knowledge of Product Management and Product Development.
- Have an in-depth understanding of customer needs and different sources of insight.
- Be able to use this insight to improve existing propositions and products
- You will be numerate and be able to analyse and present data, and in a way that is understandable to stakeholders not familiar with product management
- Importance of risk management and how to apply this and governance processes to your product set
- Understand regulations which impact your products
