Job Profile

Pool Engineer required for our client, a leading contractor within the leisure industry that specialises in the installation, servicing, and ongoing maintenance of a range of commercial swimming pools, spas, hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms across the UK.

Pool Engineer Position Remuneration

  • Salary £32,000 - £38,000 (guide only - negotiable depending on experience)
  • Company van provided
  • Door to door travel pay
  • 30 days holiday, including bank holidays
  • 45 hour working week
  • Company pension provided

Our client currently works alongside a number of prestigious clients across the UK, including leisure centres, hotel chains, sports facilities, and luxury residential facilities, with a large client-base in Central London and the surrounding counties.

The successful Pool Engineer will join an experienced service team within the South that has 20 years' experience completing servicing and maintenance works across some of the most high-end facilities in the UK, and will come from a background within the commercial leisure industry.

Pool Engineer Position Responsibilities

  • Completing servicing and maintenance on a variety of leisure industry including, but not limited to - Swimming Pools, Spas, Saunas, and Steam Rooms
  • Working on equipment including pumps, filters, pipework, automatic chemical dosing units, and UV filters
  • Travelling across London, including Central London, completing jobs from a PDA system within high-end commercial facilities
  • Working on a 1 in 4 weekend call-our rota (retainer paid)

Pool Engineer Position Requirements

  • Strong background within the commercial leisure maintenance industry, with a good knowledge of the mechanical and electrical equipment associated with swimming pools
  • Capable of completing servicing, maintenance, and occasional installations on pumps, filters, dosing units, and pipework
  • Full UK driving licence, and comfortable driving across London
  • Based either within, or within a commutable distance of the M25 corridor
  • Electrical qualifications (17th/18th Edition), desirable but not essential
