Our well-regarded secondary school in Bexley seeks a qualified and passionate PE Teacher to join our dynamic PE department on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire a love of PE and equip students with valuable knowledge and skills.

About the Role:

As a PE Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and stimulating PE lessons across the curriculum, catering to Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11).
  • Foster a love of PE in students, encouraging exploration of the world around them and developing their critical thinking skills.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, ensuring it aligns with the school's vision, national requirements, and the latest advancements in geographical pedagogy.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the PE department and across the school to ensure a cohesive and engaging program.

  • Qualified PE Teacher with a proven track record of success in engaging students and developing their geographical understanding.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring a love of PE in students of all abilities.
  • Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to deliver innovative and effective lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive, stimulating, and supportive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
