AsaCBRE Maintenance Technician, you willbe responsible for completing routine and emergency repairs to equipment, fixtures, fittingsandbuildingsystems. Theirduties includerespondingtoreports ofbrokenorfaultyitems, conducting routine inspectionsof buildingsand liaisingwith external specialists and contractors.

ThisjobispartoftheEngineeringandTechnicalServicesjobfunction.Theyareresponsiblefor upkeepofthebuilding andits infrastructure.Their roleisto maintain buildingoperationsandensurethat thefacilitiesarealways safeand functional

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, and other building systems
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems
• Review assigned work orders and track completion
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations
• Use established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate effectively with team members
  
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience
• Relevant City and Guilds qualifications
• Experience in Facilities Management settings working on PPMS
• Full UK driving license
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting/carrying heavy loads (50 lbs. or more)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong problem-solving skills and inquisitive mindset
  
  

Working Conditions

• 1 in 6 week call-out schedule
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads and work at heights.
