What You’ll Be Doing

• Ensure customer satisfaction in the repair of motor vehicles of all types.
• Carry out repair work in a safe and economical manner.
• Employ such knowledge and skills as may be required to restore vehicles to an acceptable standard.
• Observe, recognise, and report on any vehicle body damage.
• Interpret and implement technical instruction data.
• Indent for replacement parts and record usage.
• Repair damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition in accordance with approved Repair Methodology and manufacturers standards.
• Ensure that vehicles comply with safety standards when returned to customers, or that faults have been reported and noted on job card.
• Keep work area clean and tidy and free from hazards.
• Liaise with line manager to discuss repair process and completion dates.
• Report all faults, defects noticed whilst working on vehicles.
• Accurately report all components, materials and consumables used.
• Ensure that all work carried out meets acceptable safety and quality standards.
• All company repair/paint times to be achieved.
  
  
  

Skills & Attributes We Look For

• ATA/ NVQ level 2/3
• First-class attitude with an exceptional work ethic.
• Collaborative worker who can work as part of a team.
• Strong communicator with good decision making and problem-solving skills.
• H&S and compliance knowledge or awareness.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Relevant industry experience (preferred).
