Every role across the Trust plays it's part in transforming our canals and rivers into spaces where local people want to spend time and feel better, bringing wellbeing benefits to millions.

We run waterside mooring as part of our discretionary commercial business activities. The numbers of boats at each site varies greatly from 1 to over 50.

We currently looking for a Moorings Maintenance Manager who will be responsible for overseeing basic maintenance and repair activities; supervising contractors to deliver customer driven service and product improvements within a safe environment.

As the Mooring Maintenance Manager you will ensure that health and safety and welfare issues are communicated effectively and promoted within their area of responsibility. The job holder will fully understand their responsibilities for and fulfil their duties in accordance with the Trusts policy and procedures. The role will require a minimum level of site attendance at mooring sites which are predominantly within northern canal network, approximately 2 days per week would be anticipated, however, operational issues can occur at any time and this may require increased time on mooring sites as and when the need arises.
