Mobile Service Technician - Northampton/Coventry

Right now, we're recruiting for our mobile team. We are looking for mobile technicians, who are able to service heavy vehicles and trailers, to work at our customer sites. We have a number of positions available in Coventry & Northampton with varying shift patterns.

Your Job

• Travelling to customer sites servicing and repairing trucks & trailers in accordance with current legislation;
• Fault-finding and diagnostics as directed;
• Supporting customers;
• Completing inspections on engines and electrical components and rectifying problems within specific timeframes;
• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance to both new and used trucks & trailers.
• Working on large double deck trailers (experience with moving decks will be crucial).
  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent);
• Knowledge and experience of servicing and maintaining HGVs and other commercial vehicles and the ability to perform repairs on various types and brands of vehicle;
• Experience in carrying out diagnostic repairs and fault finding;
• Full valid driving licence
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A real commitment to delivering first class service and a sense of pride in your work
