What can you expect from CAF?
If you possess excellent communication skills, are highly organised, and have a keen eye for detail, we need you on our team. You'll work with us to run a well organised stores department, handling materials movement and storage via streamlined processing, ensuring seamless coordination of logistics with key stakeholders. You will be at the core of our materials operations, communicating with customers and project teams regarding materials transactions, inquiries, stock inspections and audits.
As a valued member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining material logs, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring the accuracy of system information to deliver quality and precise data. Your expertise as Materials Controller is crucial to multiple departments within the company, enabling you to provide support and offer assistance with materials planning and control as required. If you excel working in a fast-paced environment, can adapt to change, and are motivated to deliver results, then this position is ideal for you.
What salary will you be paid for this role?
As a Real Living Wage Employer, we are proud to pay competitively at CAF. For this role you will be offered a salary in the region of £31,000 per annum.
What will make you successful in this position?
Success in this role requires prior experience in a similar position, and the ability to demonstrate strong computer skills, particularly with past exposure to ERP and logistic/ stock control systems. You hold a valid driver's license and can demonstrate good numeracy and literacy, having attained standard grade 3 (or equivalent) in English and Maths. Being adaptable, independent, and proactive is also essential for this position.
