Marketing Assistant - Glasgow

Job Description

This role is hands-on and heavily involves sales activities. As a Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial part in our campaigns, engaging directly with consumers at their homes and other residential locations to offer tailored utility solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys face-to-face interaction, is motivated by targets, and is eager to make a positive impact on people’s lives by helping them save money.

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in sales initiatives and door-to-door campaigns, representing clients in the utility sector.
• Interact with consumers in residential areas, providing information about utility options and helping them switch to more cost-effective solutions.
• Assist in the setup and coordination of marketing events within targeted neighborhoods, ensuring that promotional materials are visible and informative.
• Track and report on customer feedback and campaign results, offering insights to optimize strategies and achieve better outcomes.
• Collaborate with the sales team to follow up with customers, converting initial interest into successful agreements and sales.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, including the latest statistics on the rising cost of utilities and energy solutions available to UK consumers.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all consumer inquiries are handled professionally and with care.
  
  

Requirements

• Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK (unfortunately, we cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visas).
• Must be available for full-time.
• Must not have applied to any Imperial Consulting roles within the last 30 days.
• This position focuses on face-to-face marketing campaigns—no digital marketing is involved.
• Strong communication skills and a confident, approachable demeanor.
• A goal-oriented attitude, with a passion for sales and a commitment to delivering excellent results.
