Manufacturing Controller Role at a Leading Aerospace Manufacturer Rate: £17.80-£18.80PH or £23.91-£25.26PH Umbrella
Location: Stevenage
Duration: 12-months As the Manufacturing Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the issue, receipt, and management of stores and inventory in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your primary duties will include: * Maintaining strict stock control and storekeeping, with a focus on shelf-life management * Loading manufacturing cells with the necessary work packages to ensure compliance with production schedules and delivery targets * Packing and using hand tools, as well as receiving and issuing tooling * Updating computer records and engaging in kitting activities * Loading and unloading of lorries To excel in this role, you will need experience in a stores or manufacturing control environment, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with Kanban and two-bin systems, as well as experience with enterprise planning systems like SAP, would be highly advantageous.
