Quality Assurance Engineer Opportunity

Rate: £38Ph

Duration: 6-months (likely to be extended)

Location: Stevenage (Hybrid 3 days on site required)

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company\'s manufacturing processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Engineer: - Provide expert quality assurance support and advice to the Manufacturing team, contributing to the overall excellence of the company\'s operations. - Assist in the development and delivery of quality awareness training to enhance the team\'s understanding of quality principles. - Collaborate with Manufacturing colleagues to achieve cost, time, and quality targets across all projects. - Ensure the company\'s Business Management System processes are correctly tailored and effectively implemented within the Manufacturing UK division. - Conduct independent assessments and audits to verify the successful application of processes and quality requirements. - Analyse non-conformance data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to drive continuous improvement. - Maintain strong relationships with Quality Assurance colleagues across the organisation to align on quality objectives. The ideal candidate for the Quality Assurance Engineer role will possess: - Minimum HNC/HND qualification in a relevant subject - Proven experience as a Quality professional in an engineering or manufacturing environment - Expertise in process-based integrated management systems and business improvement methodologies - Proficiency in using risk management and problem-solving tools, such as 8D, 5Y, and PFMEA - Excellent knowledge of international quality standards like EN9100/AS9100, AS9102, AS9145, and AS9146 - Strong interpersonal, planning, and organisational skills to prioritise and deliver multiple tasks - Ability to identify and implement sustainable business improvements - Effective communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organisation - Self-motivation, determination, and persistence to overcome obstacles and achieve results If you possess the required skills and experience, and are excited to contribute to the success of this dynamic company, we encourage you to apply for the Quality Assurance Engineer role today.
