This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, distribution, call center, and analytics functions! As a Manager, Distribution Optimization, you will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. On the Global Distribution team, you will support the execution of the global distribution strategy across all regions.


What will I be doing?


As the Manager, Distribution Optimization, you will drive constant performance optimization, identify opportunities to increase channel and segment profitability, and activate channel levers to strategically drive business across the distribution space. You will also analyze data and develop innovative solutions to stay ahead of the competition in the EMEA region.


The position will oversee the day-to-day optimization of Hilton’s visibility boosting capabilities on Online Travel Agencies (OTAs). The primary responsibilities supporting these channel marketing programs include developing data-driven improvements for new and existing initiatives, report generation and analysis, and supporting the Senior Director, Global Distribution EMEA with regional stakeholder engagement and communication. This role will also support the Distribution Optimization team in designing, developing and managing programs and tools to help hotels optimize visibility and bookings via our accredited and connected online third-party channels to supplement direct channel demand.


Your strategic and actionable recommendations will be imperative to improving our distribution optimization efforts at the enterprise and hotel level. You will draw these recommendations from continuous analysis of performance marketing channels including channel extranets, internal dashboards, industry trends and centralized platforms for managing OTA sponsored advertising products like Hilton Elevate.


More Specifically, You Will


  • Establish a reputation as a third-party channel expert, sharing best practices for utilizing channel extranets, tools and resources.
  • Lead, assess, and make recommendations on online third-party channels, product mix and content to solve complex marketing challenges in all regions including Europe, Middle East and Africa.
  • Design and deliver consolidated reporting to relevant stakeholders to advance commercial key performance objectives.
  • Define and execute enterprise sponsored advertising campaigns to support commercial needs, providing constant optimizations and reporting as needed.
  • Partner with cross functional teams including EMEA Distribution Strategy, Compliance and Operations to gain insights to support the delivery of departmental objectives.
  • Play a lead role in introducing new channel products, program enhancements, and platform capabilities; you will work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to mitigate risks and handle resolution.
  • Prepare and consolidate strategic analyses on new distribution opportunities through researching and analyzing both internal and competitive intelligence.

Qualifications


To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:


  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong related and relevant experience
  • Expert in hotel performance metrics as it relates to revenue distribution in rooms, meetings, and events
  • Experience with data visualization and project management
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to travel 10% of the time.
