A global Tier 1 Automotive manufacturer in the Telford area are looking for two Multiskilled Maintenance Engineers with an electrical bias
The ideal candidate will be a hard:working and adaptable Engineer with a strong technical background within a fast:paced manufacturing environment. Operating in a fast:paced environment, you will report to the Maintenance Team Leader and provide planned, preventative maintenance expertise along with responses to reactive breakdowns
This is a fantastic opportunity with a multi:national Automotive company who supply to some the biggest OEM's in the industry
The maintenance department is currently operating on a Double Days shift pattern
Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Telford
Salary: GBP 43,700 : GBP 48,300
Shift: Double Days (07:00 : 15:00 and 15:00 : 23:00)
The key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role will be:
: Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment.
: Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults across plant and production equipment.
: Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with machine upgrades and installations.
: Ensure minimal downtime through proactive maintenance and fast response to breakdowns.
: Maintain accurate maintenance records using the company's CMMS system.
: Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
: Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to maintain high standards of operation.
The Key Requirements Of The Maintenance Engineer Will Be
: Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role within fast paced manufacturing environments such as Automotive, Food, FMCG and more
: Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems.
: Ability to read technical drawings and fault:find using PLCs (advantageous but not essential).
: Willingness to work double days shifts
: Experience on Injection Moulding machinery is highly preferred
