Lymphoedema Specialist Clinical Nurse

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic nurse with Lymphoedema experience to clinically lead a small and friendly team in Liverpool. The service offers expert advice, support and education across a range of community domiciliary and clinic based visits.
The primary function of the role is to provide clinical inclusive leadership, management and communication for the Lymphoedema Service within the Integrate Community Nursing service line. The expectation is to ensure the delivery of efficient, effective, co-ordinated, and responsive high quality
specialist care to patients/clients with a multidisciplinary approach. The Specialist Clinical Nurse is underpinned by the four key pillars of specialist nursing: clinical competencies, leadership, improving quality, developing practice, and developing self and others. The post holder will be responsible for supporting clinical decisions in a specialised field providing clinical leadership and management to the identified team. Working in partnership with other health professionals and partners in care to deliver specialist
knowledge and expertise across services and across the wider economy is essential. The post holder will ensure that a consistent approach to the delivery of high-quality effective delivery of care and ensure that it is underpinned by standardised processes and protocols. As a clinical nurse specialist, the post holder will be expected to contribute to the overall success of operational services delivery in their area which meets the trusts objectives and targets whilst also supporting innovation, education and research.
