The Logistics Data Analytics team's purpose is to inspire insight-led decisions by understanding customers, operations and the markets we operate in better than anyone. We are seeking a motivated PowerBI Developer to join a leading company. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, visualisation, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business insights. As a PowerBI Developer, you will work closely with the data and analytics team to design, develop, and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports that provide valuable insights into the logistics operations and the wider business.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into PowerBI solutions.
  • Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and trends.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into PowerBI for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of reports.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of improvements to existing PowerBI solutions to enhance usability and performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest PowerBI features and best practices to continuously improve reporting capabilities.
  • Provide support and training to end-users on how to navigate and utilize PowerBI reports effectively.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in PowerBI with experience in developing interactive dashboards and reports.
  • Proficiency in SQL or Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modelling techniques.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in the logistics or retail industry is a plus but not essential
  • Understanding of Databricks & DevOps would be desirable
