As our new Legal Claims Executive, you’ll have a major impact on helping us achieve our goal. You’ll assist in the handling of flight delay claims (EC Regulation 261/2004) and make accurate compensation payments to customers in line with the Regulation. Full training is given by our experienced Legal Services team.

- You'll assist in the management of litigated flight delay claims, including but not limited to: reviewing and analysing flight delay reports/assessments; drafting defences; interviewing witnesses and drafting witness statements; reviewing skeleton arguments; corresponding with claimant solicitors; and liaising with defendant’s counsel and the courts.
- You'll produce high quality written work at all times.
- You'll produce and monitor work schedules and timetables to ensure deadlines are met.
- You'll assist the EU261 non-litigated claims team and Injury and Illness claims team to respond to pre-action correspondence, including to Regulatory bodies, when required.
- You'll be fully conversant with our Terms and Conditions, legal obligations, and company procedures.
- You'll provide regular, informative reporting of claims data or other feedback to the business as required.
- You'll communicate effectively and professionally to our internal and external customers, advisers and suppliers.
- You'll have excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- You'll have the ability to work accurately under pressure and under tight deadlines.
- You'll have experience in a customer service, legal services, or paralegal role.
- You'll have experience using claims management systems (not essential)
