What You’ll Do as a Leadership & Change Development Specialist

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:  

  • Strategy Development & Programme Leadership: Lead the design and evolution of global leadership development and change capability strategies, aligned with Primark’s 2030 priorities and organisational culture.
  • Programme Design & Delivery: Develop and roll out multiple leadership and change development programmes across business areas and regions, including coaching, mentoring, team development, and high-potential initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Needs Diagnosis: Partner with P&C Business Partners and leaders to identify current and future leadership and change development needs, tailoring solutions to meet diverse global requirements.
  • Facilitation & Capability Building: Deliver engaging sessions and workshops for leaders at all levels, while coaching and upskilling internal stakeholders to support programme delivery and embed learning.
  • Evaluation & Continuous Improvement: Build robust evaluation frameworks to measure programme effectiveness and ROI, using insights to refine content and delivery for greater impact.
  • Innovation & Supplier Management: Stay current with external trends in leadership and change development, manage supplier relationships, and ensure all programmes are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and aligned with strategic goals.

What You’ll Bring

  • Leadership & Talent Development Experience: Significant experience in leadership or talent development roles, with a strong track record of designing and delivering programmes that demonstrate tangible ROI.
  • Facilitation & Coaching Skills: Skilled facilitator and presenter with excellent communication abilities; coaching accreditation is desirable and experience working with leaders at all levels is essential.
  • Global & Retail Environment Exposure: Experience working in fast-paced, global organisations—ideally with exposure to retail—and an understanding of how to tailor leadership solutions across diverse contexts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Building: Proven ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation, influencing and collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic Execution & Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver initiatives on time in complex, changing environments, while aligning with broader HR strategy.
  • Agility, Resilience & Results Orientation: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complexity, with a results-driven mindset and the ability to prioritise and manage competing demands effectively.
