Salary: £42,500

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

We are seeking a skilled Lead Engineer with an Electrical or Mechanical background to oversee the operations at a critical site in Aylesbury. This is an exciting leadership role where you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running of essential systems on site, without the requirement for call-out duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the team in providing expert technical support and guidance for all electrical or mechanical systems on site.
• Oversee and perform PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance for site systems.
• Manage and prioritise workload effectively, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on time.
• Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained, and all engineering activities comply with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with management and team members to support operational needs and ensure seamless functionality across the site.
• Provide hands-on maintenance support where necessary.
  
  

Key Requirements:

• Electrical or Mechanical background with proven leadership experience.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in maintaining critical site systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both with the team and management.
• Ability to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintenance.
