Management Accountant

We are seeking a Management Accountant who can facilitate the efficient running of our Accounting & Finance department in the retail industry. The ideal candidate will be proactive, have a keen eye for detail, and possess a strong understanding of financial processes.

Description

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Supporting the budgeting and forecasting process
• Conducting variance analysis and providing commentary
• Assisting with year-end audit preparation
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Contributing to the development of financial procedures and controls
• Preparing VAT returns
• Assisting with ad hoc finance projects as required
  
  

Profile

A Successful Management Accountant Should Have

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• The ability to work effectively in a team
• High levels of organisation and the ability to multi-task
