- Pay: £13.50 per hour
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Working: 5 out of 7 days (flexible shifts and flexible contract)

What You’ll Do
- Wash all crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, and equipment, as well as food service equipment.
- Ensure that weekly stock checks are carried out in a timely manner
- Ensure the following are kept clean and tidy to a very high standard:
- Floors & Walls
- Bins – inside and out
- Crushing and disposal of cardboard and boxes
- Fridges & Freezers (with assistance from chefs)
- Delivery areas
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of working areas.
- Deliver and collect laundry each day
- Accept, check, rotate ad store all deliveries as per the mandatory regulations
- Complete all due diligence sheets as requested including food temperatures, wastage, delivery checks and cleaning schedules as per defined procedures
- Transport provisions, equipment and other catering related items as required
- Adhere to all health and safety, fire, hygiene, and COSHH regulations governing your work, ensuring the correct chemicals/detergents are always used.
- Report all accidents (and near misses) to the Chef.
- Report any shortages in equipment or chemicals to the Supervisor.
- Raise delivery return notes and return stock when products do not meet unit’s quality specifications
What You Bring:
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and respect for others.
- Basic food-handling skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a standing position for long periods (up to 8 hours).
- Able to demonstrate attention to detail and adherence to standards
- Ability to achieve performance criteria with particular regard to hygiene
- Good communication skills
- Ability to adhere to health and safety practises
- The ability to follow instruction and work on your own initiative
- Ability to work as a team member
- Presentable and approachable – adherence to uniform standards
- Good timekeeping and Numerate and literate skill
- Full driving licence
- Previous experience in a similar role
