We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3 Teacher to join our vibrant and forward-thinking primary school located in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a positive impact on the learning journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum, tailored to meet the diverse needs of Year 3 pupils.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students are supported and challenged to reach their full potential.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to inspire and motivate children in their learning.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing timely feedback and adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and share good practice, contributing to the school’s ethos of continual improvement.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring open communication and engagement in their child’s development.
  • Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement, while promoting the school’s values and vision.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at the primary level, ideally within Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 3 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Passionate about education with a creative approach to teaching and learning.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, showing initiative and a proactive attitude.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
