Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to support young people with SEND to move into paid employment.

The Shaw Trust Supported Internship programme Job and Employer Link role would suit an applicant with range of employer facing skills.

The successful applicant would have experience with working with young people with SEND skills, to support people into paid employed and experience of working with employers to facilitate this.

Essential

You will have:

  • The ability to work comfortably remotely using a range of digital channels including phone, video conferencing, instant messaging and email
  • Proven record of success in engaging SEN participants on Programme
  • Knowledge of current recruitment practice and corporate social responsibility
  • An understanding of the local and regional labour market and employment issues within one or more sectors or industries
