iOS Engineer - Fintech (Hybrid/Remote)

Our client is a fast-paced fintech company, and they are seeking motivated candidates for an exciting new opportunity. The ideal candidate will be available to start relatively quickly, with the option to begin on a fractional basis before transitioning to full-time. We are looking for individuals who are ready to hit the ground running and bring their expertise to the role.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a Fintech/Financial Services or start-up.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Works to deadlines and roadmaps
• Innovative and can-do and must-do mentality
• Mastery in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code. 3+ years of experience minimum
• Advanced iOS SDK understanding with deep familiarity with frameworks such as UIKit, Foundation, and Core Animation
• Ability to accurately implement designs while considering user-centric design practices. Good UI/UX principles
• Proficiency in building adaptive interfaces for multiple device sizes
• Familiarity and experience with URLSession and understanding of RESTful APIs
• Good data storage knowledge. Knowledge of CoreData, Realm, or other iOS storage solutions
• Comfortable with navigating the likes of Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
• Unit and UI Testing, experience with XCTest and UI testing paradigms.
• In-depth understanding of architectural patterns like MVC, MVVM, VIPER, etc.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment with good working knowledge of CI/CD tools
• Familiarity with Instruments and optimization techniques with good knowledge and experience in performance profiling
• Proficiency in conducting thorough code reviews to ensure quality and provide actionable feedback and advanced debugging skills.
• Secure coding practices and data-driven decision-making, using analytics and A/B testing results to guide technical choices.
• Understanding the broader product vision, prioritizing technical work accordingly and quickly building prototypes to validate product ideas.
• End-to-end product development with deep involvement from feature conception to deployment.
• Advanced Debugging skills with demonstrable proficiency in troubleshooting complex issues
• Enhanced secure coding practices. Ensuring the app's data is secure and understanding best practices for iOS security
