Interior Designer

Taunton, Somerset TA2

Full-time, Onsite (Flexible working available; Hybrid after 6 months)

£30,000 - £35,000 per annum

Working Monday to Friday

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for a Interior Designer for a company based in Taunton, Somerset.

The Role

In this role, you’ll focus exclusively on commercial properties, developing innovative designs that enhance functionality and aesthetics while meeting client needs. You’ll have opportunities to learn and advance your career while working alongside experienced professionals who are eager to share their knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate on site surveys and meet with clients to develop design briefs for commercial spaces
• Create design concepts, mood boards, and initial drawings that wow our clients
• Prepare detailed specifications and drawings tailored to commercial properties
• Advise clients on space planning, colour schemes, furniture, and fabrics for business environments
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors to negotiate the best deals
• Prepare project cost estimates, schedules & quotes to ensure everything stays on track
• Attend onsite meetings to ensure seamless project delivery
  
  

Experience, Skills & Attributes Required

• Expertise essential in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and preferred in Revit
• A passion for creative interior design in commercial settings
• Knowledge of interior fit-outs is a big plus
• A positive, collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
• A driving licence is essential as travel to client sites is part of the job
• Most importantly: an energetic, fun, and enthusiastic approach to design!
