Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Cheltenham - 5 days on site
Due to the sensitive nature of this role you will be required to have DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance (https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/united-kingdom-security-vetting-clearance-levels/national-security-vetting-clearance-levels). An allowance of £5k per annum will be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

What you’ll do:
- Systems engineering across all popular operating systems on virtualised and cloud platforms.
- Automation of all aspects of systems infrastructure/service lifecycle.
- Consulting with customers and developers to design and implement solutions to delight our users.
- Design and deployment of wide range of software and services for enterprise and web-scale scenarios.
- Operating Systems deployment and advanced configuration (Linux, Windows)
- IP Networking (Routing, Firewall configuration)
- Virtualisation or cloud computing
- Enthusiasm to continually learn on new and unfamiliar technologies.
- Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
- Automation (Ansible, Terraform, AWX)
- Advanced networking (Advanced routing, Proxy config, VPNs, SDN, NSX-T)
- Containers (building, deploying), Kubernetes
- Agile project experience (JIRA)
- Cloud computing
