An opportunity has arisen within the Adult Social Care Service Improvement & Transformation Team for an enthusiastic and hardworking Improvement Project Officer who is passionate about service improvement.
The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in a range of projects which supports the departments improvement priorities which set out several ambitions for the delivery of Adult Social Care in York.
A key focus of the current work is the development of our response to Direct Payments.
This includes work dedicated to ensuring the teams have the capacity to meet demand, promoting strengths-based practice, developing efficient approaches to service delivery.
The post holder will work closely with other members of the team as well as across adult social care, partners, the voluntary and community sector, and resident of York
Key Skills And Experience Required
Previous experience of adult social care and of supporting or managing change is essential, along with in depth knowledge of social work including Direct Payments and CHC.
The successful applicant will need an ability to work under pressure in a way that is flexible, creative, and collaborative and to deliver work to meet agreed deadlines.
Hybrid working arrangements are available for this role. Each role at CYC is different and your working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you and your needs as part of the recruitment process. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team.
